Red Stag Fulfillment's Western U.S. fulfillment node sits in Salt Lake City, Utah. It runs parcel and pallets under one roof for D2C, retail and B2B, Amazon, returns, and kitting, the same single operation Red Stag runs in the East.
Big and heavy is Red Stag's specialty across the board: the company built its operation around products bigger than a toaster or heavier than 10 pounds, and has shipped over a billion pounds of products most 3PLs will not handle. Salt Lake City also handles smaller items at higher volumes and lower unit counts, including accessories that ship alongside larger products.
LOCATION AND COVERAGE
Salt Lake City is the western alternative to a California warehouse. The facility sits at the crossing of Interstate 15 and Interstate 80, minutes from the major western carrier hubs. Ground parcel from Salt Lake City reaches most of the Western U.S. in two days. The Salt Lake City Inland Port sits two to three miles away, so imports from Asia can move by rail from the West Coast ports and clear customs in Utah instead of at a congested coastal port. Labor and industrial space both cost less here than in coastal California, and that difference lands in the per-unit cost of fulfillment.
SERVICES AT THIS FACILITY

- Retail and B2B: routing-guide compliance, EDI, and LTL/FTL distribution to Walmart, Target, Costco, and Home Depot.

- Kitting, returns, and special projects: bundling, relabeling, repackaging, and light assembly.

GUARANTEES
Red Stag guarantees zero shrink, zero mispicks, and zero late shipments on the parcel orders it picks, packs, and ships. When Red Stag misses, it pays the client automatically, as an account credit, with no dispute process.
SHIPPING COST CONTROL
Because big and heavy is the specialty, Red Stag negotiates hardest on the surcharges those shipments pay: Additional Handling, Oversize, and the dimensional divisor. On big and bulky orders, those surcharges are usually the largest line on the carrier invoice. Red Stag passes negotiated savings to the brand.
CLIENT SUCCESS AND CONTROL
Red Stag controls the facility directly and employs the people who work its floor. Every client gets a named contact on Red Stag's in-house, U.S.-based client success team, and that contact has a direct line to the Salt Lake City floor. A dedicated specialist runs onboarding with a written transition plan, at no extra cost.
